If you are planning to cross the Alps, there are a few things to bear in mind. You should be able to correctly assess the requirements and difficulties, be familiar with objective and subjective dangers and know your equipment.

Program schedule: 1. the perfect preparation (20 min.) Experience reports from Thomas and Simon, fitness and technical requirements, personal standards and performance, "The apps of the pros", reading analog and digital maps, DIN standard 33466 - the travel time formula 2. "Not too much and not too little - what needs to be in the rucksack?" - (20 min.) Well dressed for the Alps (merino or synthetic), the most important items of equipment, what can I expect at the bases? Saving weight like the pros, packing your rucksack correctly, "insider tips" from the pros 3. "Over the Alps" - equipment (10 min.) Food and drink, breaks and walking pace, danger spots, good and (hopefully little) bad weather, "NoGos" in the mountains 4. everything else you wanted to know (Q&A session)
