Iceclimbing Camp with Simon Gietl
Simon Gielt invites you. To the place where he learned and trained ice and mixed climbing. Simon knows the most difficult ice routes of the Dolomites and the Alps, he has a huge wealth of experience in steep ice, but he is also a gifted mountain guide and coach (see also Climbing with the Rockstar on our blog). The Vivalpin Iceclimbing Camp
Cimo della Pala, Rifugio Rosetta, Passo Pradiadali, the names melt in your mouth. And indeed, the Pala Dolomites are something for alpine gourmets. Be it for ski tourers, freeriders, climbers and in particular for mountaineers and hikers. Because although the summit panorama is characterized by steep pinnacles and towers, hidden in between are mountain forests, high plains
Glacier and climate excursion
Glaciers have fascinated people since time immemorial. They are fascinating natural wonders, sensitive ecosystems, water reservoirs, places of beauty, permanence and change at the same time. The Northern Schneeferner on the Zugspitzplatt is one of the last four glaciers in Germany and an excellent illustrative example of current climatic developments and geological background. Learn everything about the wonderful natural phenomenon of glaciers!
The Zugspitz Trek is one of our favorite hikes and a classic in the Vivalpin program. The highlight of the tour is undoubtedly the ascent of the 2,962-meter Zugspitze, Germany's highest peak. The extraordinarily beautiful route takes you on easy trails through densely forested valleys, over sunny transitions and finally across the eternal ice of the Schneeferner to the Zugspitze.
Zack Zack Salami
Up to 9 via ferratas in one weekend? Hard to believe, but Theo makes it possible. Theo Förster is one of the most experienced certified mountain and ski guides in the Vivalpin team and has been an absolute fan of these modern via ferratas in the Rofan and Zillertal for 12 years. On the first day, a selection (or all?) of the 5 peaks await you
Via ferrata course, Lake Garda, Trentino
Nowhere is the selection of all-season via ferratas in difficulty levels A-D greater than on Lake Garda. Your mountain guide will accompany you on routes such as the "Ferrata Che Guevara" or "Via Ferrata Signora delle Acque".
Ammergau alpine crossing
The Bavarian fairy-tale king Ludwig II left his descendants not only magnificent castles, but also many a royal riding and hunting trail, which was created especially for the eccentric monarch in the Bavarian Alps. This wonderful hike follows parts of these historic paths, as well as the most beautiful sections of the "Maximiliansweg", which was only opened at the beginning of the 1990s.
Karwendel High Altitude Trail
Karwendel - that is the epitome of untouched nature and rugged peaks, of austere beauty and wild solitude. However, the Karwendel Höhenweg cleverly finds the weak points between the inaccessible mountain ranges and is good and enjoyable for sure-footed and experienced hikers accompanied by a mountain guide.
Via ferrata meets yoga
The combination of yoga and via ferrata promises an all-around successful day with action and relaxation. And by the way, you'll get valuable tips from your guide on how to climb via ferrata on your own. The right environment is also provided: directly below the Alpspitze we find the best conditions for it.
Family courses climbing / via ferrata Alpspitze
The aim of the family courses is the joint (of parents and children) learning of the various climbing and belaying techniques for easy climbing tours or via ferrata. The selected course area is especially adapted to the specific requirements and allows climbing or via ferrata with a lot of fun and success. The family courses are suitable for fathers/mothers with their sons/daughters who are at least 10 years old.
