Learn to climb from the pros: day, weekend and multi-pitch courses

For climbing beginners, advanced climbers, indoor climbers, boulderers and anyone who wants to optimize their climbing and belaying technique. You learn and train in a relaxed atmosphere, on the best rock and in small groups. From the ground up, your:e mountain guide:in teaches you the essence of rope and belaying techniques and, of course, current climbing techniques.

With a Daily rate you learn in compact form the basics of rock climbing for your level of difficulty. The proven course and training area was renovated by the Garmisch mountain guides in the summer of 2023.

At a Weekend course there is naturally more time for you to hone your climbing and belaying techniques for your level of difficulty in the natural rock. Retreat and mountain rescue techniques are also on the program. In the evening, your mountain guide will also teach you the physical basics of belaying techniques, meteorology and tour planning.

If you are planning longer alpine climbing tours, the Multi-pitch course just the right thing for you. Stand construction, the use of mobile belay devices and various retreat methods complement the training content of the weekend courses.

For effective and focused learning, you can opt for vDifferent difficulty levels log in.
Level 1 prepares you for climbing in the difficulty level III - V*
Level 2 prepares you for climbing in difficulty level IV - VI*.
* The mentioned difficulty levels are in no way comparable with those in the hall. This is because climbing on natural rock requires more circumspection and different tactics than in the climbing hall. An alpine IVer can be more demanding than a VIer in the hall, especially in lead climbing.
