With snowshoes in the winter mountains
A Bavarian winter fairy tale in a unique landscape! The tour destinations are adjusted depending on snow conditions.
Snowshoes on your feet open up completely new perspectives and impressions in the snow-covered mountains. Snowshoes are an original and natural means of transportation in the winter mountains. You don't need any previous experience to use them, as the pace and movement are the same as for "normal" mountain hiking.
Whether you're looking for a change of pace in winter sports or just want to actively relax, snowshoeing is a fascinating alternative.
Your mountain guide with the necessary qualifications will explain the special equipment and of course show you the basics of the technique and one or two tips on how to move comfortably and with a good feeling.

Meeting point with your mountain guide and issue of snowshoe equipment, consisting of high-quality Tubbs snowshoes with aluminum frame and Leki poles. Tour to one of the most beautiful peaks or hiking destinations in the Bavarian Alps. The tour destinations in the Alpspitz area, on the Zugspitze, on the Wank, in Oberammergau or on the Ellmauer Alm are selected up to three days before the start of the course, depending on the snow conditions.
Note on program changes:
All courses and guided tours are conscientiously organized and carried out in accordance with the safety standards of the Vivalpin Mountain and Ski School with qualified specialists (e.g. mountain and ski guides, mountain hiking guides, etc.). The provisional tour program may be adjusted for safety-related reasons, such as bad weather, dangerous conditions, unforeseen natural events or inadequate conditions of the participants. The final program will be decided by the guide on site.
You don't need any previous experience of snowshoeing. You only need to be fit for 4 - 5 hours of hiking with differences in altitude of up to 600 meters. The pace and movement correspond to that of "normal" mountain hiking.
