The ORTOVOX Safety Days day courses are ideal to bring your own knowledge up to date or to practice avalanche search techniques again intensively with an expert. In compact training units you learn quickly and effectively. Because in an emergency, every minute counts. Of course, all course content is trained and taught live in the field and just as naturally, a mountain guide professional is available to answer all your questions. The goal of the OROTVOX Safety Days courses is to provide you with a solid foundation for your personal risk management on ski tours and freeride descents as well as the experienced use of modern avalanche transceiver technology.

Risk management in theory and practice, 3x3 filter method and other current decision strategies, avalanche search with ORTOVOX avalanche transceivers, optimized recovery technique

Day 1
Meeting point, equipment check, Safety Day day course in the Classic area.
Change of program
All courses and tours are conscientiously organized and carried out according to the safety standards of the VIVALPIN Mountain and Ski School with qualified mountain guides. An adjustment of the approved tour program is possible for safety-related reasons such as bad weather, dangerous conditions or insufficient prerequisites of the participants. The decision for the final program is made by the mountain guide on site.

Requirements
The Safety Days are aimed at beginners, advanced and expert skiers. No special requirements in terms of downhill technique or physical condition are necessary to participate in the Safety Days. However, to get to the exciting spots in the terrain, touring skis or splitboards with skins are required for the ascents.
