+ EASY CROSSING
+ FANTASTIC PEAKS
+ 4 PARTICIPANTS PER GUIDE
The Ötztal Alps are a top-class high alpine touring region. Although the differences in altitude are significantly lower than the four-thousand-meter tours of the Western Alps, the high alpine ambience is definitely comparable. The most beautiful and highest three-thousand-meter peaks of the Ötztal can be perfectly combined on technically relatively easy ascents during this touring week. The demands increase continuously from the first to the last day. The absolute highlight is the ascent of the highest Tyrolean peak, the 3774 m high Wildspitze. Here the summit ascent requires easy block climbing on the last meters, of course on the rope of the mountain guide!
Programm und Ablauf
Ascent via the Martin-Busch to the Similaun hut (3017 m).
Ascent of the Similaun (3599 m) via the technically easy but varied normal route. Afterwards glacier crossing via Hauslabjoch (Ötzifund site) to Hochjochhospitz (2413 m).
Via the exposed Deloretteweg to the Kesselwandferner and the Fluchtkogel (3500 m), in good conditions summit crossing to the Vernagthütte (2755 m).
Over scree, rock and ice to the Brochkogeljoch and first over glacier and finally over the rocky summit ridge in easy climbing on the highest mountain of Tyrol, the Ötztaler Wildspitze (3774 m), descent to the Breslauerhütte (2844 m) and further to Vent.
Change of program
All courses and guided tours are conscientiously organized and carried out according to the safety standards of the VIVALPIN Mountain and Ski School with qualified mountain guides. An adjustment of the approved tour program is possible for safety-related reasons such as bad weather, dangerous conditions or insufficient prerequisites of the participants. The decision for the final program is made by the mountain guide on site.
