Via ferrata technique from A-Z in perfect training terrain

The aim of the VIVALPIN via ferrata courses is to learn how to climb via ferrata independently. Level 1 courses in difficulty A-B/C, with the Level 2 courses in the B-C/D difficulty level. You will not only learn the specific belay technique for via ferrata, but it is equally important to improve your surefootedness, get used to the exposure and learn the appropriate tactics for climbing via ferrata.
After the training on the practice via ferrata, the highlight of the course is the independent ascent of a "real" via ferrata route. And of course you should also use the via ferrata course to ask your guide about everything that is important to you, whether it is equipment, weather, tour tips or other topics.
As with all VIVALPIN courses and guided tours, you will be looked after exclusively by qualified mountain guides who know the material inside out and are always up to date thanks to their regular further training and courses.

2nd day: Repetition of what has been learned, climbing a via ferrata in the appropriate difficulty, mountain rescue and retreat technique in practice, companion safety.

 

 

Note on program changes: 

All courses and guided tours are conscientiously organized and carried out in accordance with the safety standards of the Vivalpin Mountain and Ski School with qualified specialists (e.g. mountain and ski guides, mountain hiking guides, etc.). The provisional tour program may be adjusted for safety-related reasons, such as bad weather, dangerous conditions, unforeseen natural events or inadequate conditions of the participants. The final program will be decided by the guide on site.

For the via ferrata courses you need no specific previous knowledge. You can expect ascents into the course area of up to 300 hm or 1h.
For the training you should be surefooted and enjoy the movement have. You will spend a total of 4 to 5 hours on the training terrain or via ferrata and need to be in good shape.
