With double Olympic champion Laura Dahlmeier up the Zugspitze by fair means

Laura Dahlmeier is not only a multiple world champion and double Olympic champion, she is your perfect companion for this extraordinary ascent of the Zugspitze by fair means. Normally, you only climb half of the Zugspitze - and use the Zugspitzbahn for the descent.
As a day tour in ascent and descent, i.e. by fair means, an ascent of the Zugspitze is a completely different caliber. State-certified mountain and ski guide Laura Dahlmeier is your best possible companion for this fitness tour in her home mountains.
On the ascent, Laura leads you along the technical but varied "Stopselzieher" trail, which is almost 2,000 m high, through various vegetation zones and finally over scree and rock to the highest point in Germany. After a 5-hour ascent, you've well earned a rest at the summit, and it's also time to recharge your batteries for the long descent over the Gatterl into the valley. Laura chose this route for the descent because it is technically easy and you can still enjoy it after a long day.
At the end of this strenuous, long tour, you will be able to look back with pride on your extraordinary Zugspitze ascent with Laura Dahlmeier.

The route from Ehrwald via Gatterl to the 2,962m high Zugspitze is the easiest and shortest way to Germany's highest peak. It is technically easy and entertaining, but at the same time rewards with fantastic views.

Großglockner single push with Laura Dahlmeier

Level
Day tour with Laura Dahlmeier,For fit mountaineers,Austria's highest peak towers over the surrounding valleys by more than 2,000 meters in altitude. Climbing the Grossglockner as a day tour from the valley is a huge challenge, but with Laura Dahlmeier as your mountain guide you have the perfect guide. The state-certified mountain guide not only has the necessary know-how, but of course also enough physical reserves to accompany you on this experience. You need to be in very good physical condition to climb the Großglockner in one day, as you can expect to climb and descend almost 2,000 meters in altitude. In good conditions, and if you have the necessary experience on the rock, Laura will suggest a traverse with ascent via the Stüdlgrat and descent via the normal route. The climbing up to grade III on the Stüdlgrat is pure enjoyment and is considered one of the alpine ridges that you "must have done". The advantage of the single-push ascent is that you can travel light. After an early start at the Lucknerhaus parking lot at 1,900 m above sea level, you first hike along good paths to the Stüdlhütte, which you will reach in just under 2 hours at the right pace. After another hour over scree and pathless terrain, you will soon reach the 3,175m high Luisenscharte and the start of the Stüdlgrat. For the subsequent 500 vertical meters of climbing up to grade III, you have to reckon with another 3 hours, so that you will reach the summit 6 hours after setting off. However, this is only possible if you have above-average stamina and the necessary reserves. This is much easier, but also requires strenuous climbing on the summit structure. 10 hours in total on this day,Laura's recommendation,Guided by Laura Dahlmeier, state-certified mountain and ski guide, double Olympic champion,Organization of the tour,Provision of necessary equipment,Meeting point the evening before at the Lucknerhaus, preparation of the necessary equipment,Crossing the Großglockner, ascent via Stüdlgrat and descent via the normal route,Exceptionally good physical condition for up to 2.000 vertical meters in ascent and descent, experience with crampons and easy rock, "Climbing a high mountain from the valley is always a special challenge, but also an unforgettable experience.
