Die 5 Klettersteige im Rofan über 5 Gipfel sind fantastisch abwechslungsreich, was Schwierigkeit, Dauer und Landschaft anbelangt: die Kletterei variiert vom Schwierigkeitsgrad B an der Haidachstellwand (2.192 m) über C/D am Rosskopf (2.246 m) und D an der Seekarlspitze (2.261 m) bis zum Spieljoch (2.236 m) im Schwierigkeitsgrad B/C. Am Ende wartet mit dem Hochiss (2.299 m, Schwierigkeit C/D) ein absolutes Highlight.
Die Leichtigkeit dieser Klettersteige rührt daher, dass man nach jedem Klettersteig aussteigen kann, wenn einem die Kräfte verlassen oder wenn das Wetter nicht zuverlässig ist oder dass man auch die Reihenfolge verändern kann.

for the weekend course additionally: Retreat technique and live training on one of the via ferratas on the Alpspitze.
Tageskurs Einsteiger Alpspitze: Meeting point at the valley station of the Alpspitzbahn, welcome by the guide and equipment check, training of the course contents in the Vivalpin course area
Tageskurs Fortgeschrittene 5 Gipfel Rofan: Treffpunkt an der Talstation der Rofan Seilbahn in Maurach am Achensee. Begrüßung durch den Guide sowie Einweisung und Zustieg zum ersten Klettersteig, anschl. Klettern diverser Klettersteige; Schulung Sicherheit und Tritttechnik; nach jedem Klettersteig kann zur Erfurter Hütte zurückgegangen werden bzw. es können die Gipfel über die Normalwege (Gehgelände) erreicht werden. Anschließend Nachbesprechung, Talfahrt mit der Rofan Seilbahn und Heimfahrt.
Weekend course
Day 1: Meeting point, welcome by the guide and equipment check, training of the course contents in the Vivalpin course area, theory first aid, mountain rescue
2nd day: Repetition of what has been learned, climbing a via ferrata in the appropriate difficulty, mountain rescue and retreat technique in practice, companion safety.
Note on program changes:
All courses and guided tours are conscientiously organized and carried out in accordance with the safety standards of the Vivalpin Mountain and Ski School with qualified specialists (e.g. mountain and ski guides, mountain hiking guides, etc.). The provisional tour program may be adjusted for safety-related reasons, such as bad weather, dangerous conditions, unforeseen natural events or inadequate conditions of the participants. The final program will be decided by the guide on site.
For the Level 1 Via ferrata courses you need no specific previous knowledge. You can expect ascents of up to 300 m or 1 h into the course area.
For the training you should be surefooted and enjoy the movement have. You will spend a total of 4 to 5 hours on the training terrain or via ferrata and need to be in good shape.
For the Level 2 via ferrata course you should already have some experience of via ferrata - rock climbing, bouldering, etc. would be an advantage.
