If you want to refresh your knowledge or go on your first ski tour under professional guidance, then the ski touring and avalanche training courses for different levels are just right for you. Your mountain guide will show you the most important tips and tricks for ascent and descent techniques as well as risk management and assessing the avalanche situation. The course areas we have chosen offer the best conditions for this, so that you can learn, practise and train intensively and with lots of fun. For a perfect start, we provide high-quality rental and test equipment from our partners, Völkl, Marker and Ortovox. To avoid overloading your practical training with content, you can explore the topics of snow and avalanche awareness and risk management from the comfort of your own home. A certified avalanche expert will take you by the hand in one of our popular online training courses and prepare you optimally for your off-piste adventures.

Note on program changes: 

All courses and guided tours are conscientiously organized and carried out in accordance with the safety standards of the Vivalpin Mountain and Ski School with qualified specialists (e.g. mountain and ski guides, mountain hiking guides, etc.). The provisional tour program may be adjusted for safety-related reasons, such as bad weather, dangerous conditions, unforeseen natural events or inadequate conditions of the participants. The final program will be decided by the guide on site.

Level 1: You should be able to ski medium-difficulty slopes (marked red) safely and without crashing and have mastered the basics of skiing technique. Experience in deep snow is not necessary Level 2: You already have experience in deep snow and have mastered the basics there.
